Injured Hunter Rescued Near Melrose
The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department, Ruby Valley Search and Rescue, and other volunteers rescued a hunter on a mountain near Melrose after the individual got injured while out hunting.
Officials urge residents to know the area you're recreating in, inform someone of where you are going and carry a phone or GPS with you to call for help with your coordinates if needed. Read more here
