Injured Climbers Rescued By SCSSAR on Mount Shasta
The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team rescued two climbers on Mt. Shasta on Saturday after they were about to come down 12,000 feet from the mountain. Still, unfortunately, an avalanche triggered them, and both suffered injuries on the leg and knee.
Weather conditions including strong winds and poor visibility made it impossible for CHP Air Operations to fly and land its helicopter near where the climbers were stranded. Read more here
Special thanks to the SCSSAR for rescuing both climbers as we wish them a speedy recovery and pray for continued healing. Please be safe out there!
