ICSAR Rescues Hikers On Mount Whitney In Separate Rescues
November is shaping up to be a busy month for Inyo County Search and Rescue, as they have made two separate rescues so far this month. The first rescue occurred on November 2nd, when a hiker fell ill, and the second rescue took place on November 7th, when a hiker slipped on ice and fell while climbing.

We want to thank Inyo County Search and Rescue and other volunteers for working relentlessly and dedicating their time to rescuing the hikers back to safety. We hope all three hikers are recovering well, as this is a reminder to everyone to be safe when you are traveling in the mountains, now that it is currently snowing up there. This article has provided some insightful tips for everyone if you plan on going to Mt. Whitney or any mountains. As always, please be safe out there, everyone!
